Let’s look at the Thursday Night NFL showdown!

IND Colts (48.5)

@

TEN Titans (2.5)

Don’t stress each individual player. Don’t make it that hard on yourself. Find your story on how the game will play out and apply that across the board. If you make sense of the game flow needed for the outcome you will believe will happen then all the players should neatly fall into line.

Divisional rivalry in Prime Time! That’s what we like to see! Indianapolis has been maybe the best defense by the numbers this year giving up the least yardage overall and the 3rd least both on the ground and in the air. Tennessee though has a pretty impressive group on offense when they are hitting on all cylinders. I expect Indy to try to run the ball and control the game on defense while Tennessee uses the threat of Henry to try to open up lanes for Brown and Davis to get deep. These teams haven’t met this year yet and I am predicting Tennessee gets the best of Indy on the road.

For PrizePicks you need to select 2, 3, or 4 players and choose if they will go over or under their projected point totals. Basically playing by standard PPR fantasy scoring on most platforms. Make your selections, choose your entry amount, and win real money on the spot when you are correct! It’s the latest fantasy sports game and one of the most fun around!

See their App or Page for full scoring, rules, and eligibility requirements.

The Breakdown

Philip Rivers (16.2)  225 yards 2TD and an INT

The Titans added Desmond King to their secondary who should be on the field this week after waiting out the mandatory period when switching teams for COVID protocols. He makes a difference right away and with an INT prone QB in his first start I could see him impacting the game immediately. I think this goes under the projected total and Rivers has a blow up game. UNDER

Ryan Tannehill (18) 250 2 TD and 20 yards rushing

Ryan has hit this mark every game but the last one. Indy defense is very good though so I understand the downgrade. I do like the home team though and if they are going to succeed I like it through the air more than the ground this week so I am on the OVER as I think the Titans want a statement game in Prime Time.

Jonathan Taylor (10.5) 65 yards plus 2 catches for 20 yards

It seems Wilkins has taken over the back field as Taylor has been bad and had a crucial fumble last game. Wilkins should get the chance to start and if he does well might not leave much game for Taylor. I’m UNDER as there has to be a TD for him to cover this.

Derrick Henry (18) 80 yards with 2 catches for 20 and a TD

If you figure that Henry is better than the average back and the Colts are giving up about this projection I think you have to figure in his ability to hit this. It’s hard to ever go under on this kind of game breaking talent so I have to go OVER.

Zach Pascal (9) 3 Catches 60 yards

The problem we are going to face with both Pascal and Pittman is that TY is expected to play. I honestly think that he takes away from both when healthy and this team will rely on TEs and the Running game to push the ball with the occasional shot to TY and Pascal. So I am going UNDER

Michael Pittman Jr (8.5) 4 catches 45 yards

As stated above I think TY takes mostly from Pittman so I am on a easy UNDER here.

A.J. Brown  (15) 4 catches 50 yards and a TD

He has a TD in every game he has played. He is working through the knee injury he has had all year and if he scores there is no way he doesn’t hit this number even with a solid IND defense. OVER.

Corey Davis (13) 5 catches 70 yards

He can get here without a TD so I am on it again. Seems like I don’t respect this Indy defense this week. I could eat those words… OVER

Mo Alie-Cox (6.4) 3 catches 35 yards

Seems when he is healthy he gets his share of looks. When all the WRs are in it’s likely he will see less but… if Doyle misses the week then I am OVER

Jonnu Smith (7.5) 4 catches 35 yards

Indy has completely locked down the TE position and because I like both Davis and Brown so well I will have to take the UNDER here. He is a redzone favorite so if you feel he scores then you have to go over.

Good Luck!!!
