Bears signed WR Olamide Zaccheaus, formerly of the Commanders, to a one-year contract.
Zaccheaus posted career-highs in both targets (62) and receptions (45) while tying his career-high in touchdowns (three) with the Commanders last season. The Washington team also tasked him with returning punts, but he delivered mixed results by averaging 10.5 yards per, and muffing two. He turns 28 in July. Zaccheus will duke it out with incumbent WR Tyler Scott for the No. 3 role, unless a Day 1 or Day 2 rookie is added to the mix via the 2025 NFL draft.

Free agent Joe Flacco visited the Giants on Thursday.
Flacco joins Russell Wilson in scheduling a visit with the G-Men. Wilson is expected to be in town Friday. Fellow free agent Aaron Rodgers looms over the conversation. Either Flacco or Wilson would likely end up being paired with a rookie. It seems unlikely they would be signed as a Rodgers backup plan, though maybe beggars can't be choosers at this point.
