Bengals reach extensions with Chase, Higgins
The Bengals have secured two of their biggest stars, with wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins telling Fox Sports that they have agreed to contract extensions.
(Mar 17 -- ESPN)
Bengals signed Tee Higgins to a four-year, $115 million contract, making him the highest paid No. 2 wide receiver in NFL history.
FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz reports that the first two years of Higgins' new contract are fully guaranteed. The deal keeps the 26-year-old Higgins in a Bengals uniform through the 2028 season. He caught 73-of-104 targets for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns en route to the WR17 finish in PPR scoring formats last year. Higgins occasionally misses time due to nagging soft tissue injuries but regularly performs at an elite level when healthy. Appearing in 12 games last season, Higgins finished as the WR15 or better six times, including three top-four showings. He currently projects as a rock solid WR2, with easy WR1 upside. The Bengals simultaneously signed Ja'Marr Chase to a record-breaking four-year deal of his own, keeping the team's elite wide receiver duo intact.

Bengals signed Ja'Marr Chase to a four-year, $161 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz reports that Chase's deal includes $112 million in guaranteed money. He is now under contract through 2029. The Bengals signed Tee Higgins to a four-year deal as well, preserving their elite one-two punch at wide receiver while making Joe Burrow a very happy man. Chase finished as the overall WR1 in PPR formats last year, scoring 403.0 fantasy points by catching 127-of-171 targets for 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns. Chase turned just 25 years old on March 1st. He makes a strong case for being the No. 1 overall pick in 2025 fantasy drafts.
