Start/Sit Hub Week 7

Happy week 7 of the 2024 NFL season! Welcome back to my weekly Start/Sit HUB! Mike here, providing you with information that can help you win your fantasy league week in and week out. For all things fantasy football, follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard).

The Thursday Night Football game tomorrow is between the 3-3 Denver Broncos and the 2-4 New Orleans Saints. Denver currently is favored by 2.5 points and the total points over/under is 37.5. A very low total with Bronco’s defense playing well and a bunch of injuries to the Saints offense. My prediction in this one is a Broncos victory by a score of 20-16.

I’m here every week during the fantasy football season with start and sit suggestions that can impact your team each week. My decisions as always include obvious and not so obvious picks. I would also like to clarify that my sit suggestions are based on the assumption you have or can add a player that has a better chance at success. Good luck this week and continue to check out my weekly articles.

Recent News

Chris Olave (concussion) will not play in Week 7 against the Broncos.
Olave suffered the concussion early in the Saints' Week 6 loss to the Bucs and did not return. He has suffered multiple previous concussions and did not practice this week, so it's no surprise to see him ruled out a day in advance. Rashid Shheed's status remains up in the air. If he is also ruled out, Bub Means will be the team's de facto WR1.

Panthers EDGE Jadeveon Clowney (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Clowney missed Week 6 with the shoulder injury after being listed as doubtful. A limited session to open the week is a good start for the veteran pass-rusher. He has one sack and two TFLs as a Panther.
(Oct 16 -- NBC Sports)

Diontae Johnson (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
Johnson has been playing through the ankle issue for the past two weeks. He was a limited participant in all three of Week 6's practices before being listed as questionable. It's likely that today's DNP is part of a workload management regimen that could last a few more weeks. Barring any setbacks, Johnson should contniue to push through the ankle injury.

Diontae Johnson: Held out of Wednesday's practice

Jakobi Meyers: Returning to practice
Meyers (ankle) is expected to return to practice Wednesday, with Raiders coach Antonio Pierce saying he's hopeful the wide receiver can play Sunday against the Rams, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports.
