NHL Puck Drop 2/13

NHL Puck Drop
Saturday February 13, 2021 – 7pm Main Slate

NHL Puck Drop will be a quick list of my favorite players, line stacks and bets for single day NHL slates. This will be updated as news is released.

I mostly play cash games (Double-ups and 50/50). I use the stacks for GPPs, mostly single entry tournaments..

Players are typically in order of price on DK. Stacks are single team stacks. One strategy is to “run back” a player from the opposing team, if you think the game will be a shootout.

Betting is Moneyline unless otherwise noted.

A few thoughts
Man, I love this Boston/Islander game. The Isle have been coming on lately and Boston is struggling to get scoring from lines 2 and 3. I am going to be stacking NYI line 2 and BOS PP1. I expect this game to be a 4-3 thriller.
Everyone will be on Toronto/Montreal. Great for cash but I am fading in GPP. This will be a shootout with 2 strong offenses (and weak defenses) going H2H.
I will be playing a lot of Nashville against the Dead Things. Especially NSH Line 2.

Recent News

Commanders K Austin Seibert (hip) is questionable to play in Week 12 against the Cowboys.
Seibert was limited on Wednesday and Thursday but upgraded to Full Participant status on Friday. The fact that the team still felt it necessary to label him as questionable suggests they may choose to give him one more week to get right.
(Nov 22 -- NBC Sports)

Austin Hooper (neck) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 12 against the Dolphins.
With New England's receiving room in constant flux, Hooper has stepped into an ancillary pass-catching role over the past two weeks. He has four targets in back-to-back games. Hooper remains at weak TE2 option at best for Week 12, but he at least has a pulse.
(Nov 22 -- NBC Sports)

Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez (hip) is questionable for Week 12 against the Dolphins.
In typical Patriots fashion, there are 10 players listed as questionable on the team's injury report. Gonzalez is the most eyebrow-raising as he was added to the report as a limited participant on Friday before being listed as questionable. The second-year corner has six pass breakups and one interception this season. Losing him would make an already easy matchup for Tua Tagovailoa even better.
(Nov 22 -- NBC Sports)

Terron Armstead (knee) is questionable to play in Week 12 against the Patriots.
Armstead did the same thing in Week 11, receiving the questionable tag after resting through the practice week. He then suited up, as usual, on game day. Unless reports suggest otherwise, fantasy managers should expect Tua Tagovailoa to have his stud OT out there against the Patriots.

Ladd McConkey: Spotted at Friday's practice
McConkey (shoulder) is participating in practice Friday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
