Start/Sit Hub Week 4

It is officially week 4 of the 2024 NFL season! Welcome back to my weekly Start/Sit HUB! Mike here, providing you with information that can help you win your fantasy league week in and week out. For all things fantasy football, follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard).

This week’s Thursday Night Football game is a divisional matchup between the 1-2 Dallas Cowboys and the 1-2 New York Giants. Giants will be the home team in a game with the over/under set at 45.5 and the Cowboys favored by 6. Both of these teams 1 victory came against the Cleveland Browns. Both teams have a 3-point loss and both teams have a 20+ point loss. Most would assume the Cowboys roll to an easy victory, which might be the case, but Malik Nabers will want to have a say in that. The rookie phenom is 2nd in the NFL with 23 receptions, ranks 5th in the NFL with 271 receiving yards, and is tied for most receiving TDs in the NFL with 3. Last year the Cowboys scored 89 points in their 2 matchups with the Giants and allowed just 17 points. My prediction for this game is a 26-20 victory for the Cowboys. Hoping for big games from CeeDee Lamb and Malik Nabers in what could be a WR rivalry for years to come.

I’m here every week during the fantasy football season with start and sit suggestions that can impact your team each week. My decisions as always include obvious and not so obvious picks. I would also like to clarify that my sit suggestions are based on the assumption you have or can add a player that has a better chance at success. Good luck this week and continue to check out my weekly articles.

TNF START/SIT

Start – Malik Nabers – All aboard the Malik Nabers hype train. The rookie out of LSU has accounted for 3 of the giants 6 total TDs this season and 3 out the 4 receiving TDs. The Cowboys seem to be susceptible to the big play, and Malik Nabers is the definition of a big play. If Daniel Jones can get the ball out to him, he should be able to do the rest. This will also be Maliks first primetime game under the lights so I think he’ll want to make it memorable.

Steelers Have 1st-Round Grade On Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart
The Steelers have a first-round grade on Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, though that does not mean they’ll prioritize the position over other needs in next week’s draft. Instead, Dulac writes, Pittsburgh will likely target a defensive lineman or even a running back with their first-round pick. […]

The Athletic's Mike DeFabo believes the Steelers won't draft Alabama QB Jalen Milroe if he's available at pick No. 21.
DeFabo notes in a recent article that Milroe "has generated a lot of buzz in Pittsburgh," and highlights comments made on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, who said an executive told him the Steelers "really like" Milroe. According to DeFabo, however, he's "hearing the exact opposite." The Steelers beat writer goes so far as to predict the team wouldn't take Milroe if he "is sitting there in the third round." The Steelers are in need of a quarterback, again, and the Aaron Rodgers saga doesn't appear to be getting resolved any time soon. Assuming there's a prospect they like in the draft, the Steelers feel like a near lock to take a shot on a signal-caller at some point, but DeFabo's bold prediction suggests Milroe is nowhere near the team's radar. We'll see how things play out in the coming days, with the draft just days away.

Aaron Rodgers Age, Durability Were Giants Biggest Concerns
The Giants seriously considered pursuing Aaron Rodgers, but concerns about his age and durability were too significant for team president John Mara to move forward with a potential signing, according to Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post.
