Trade Hub – Week 5

Welcome back and happy Monday. It’s time to talk trades in my weekly Trade Hub article. Mike here ready as always to help you with trade suggestions that can help your chances of winning your fantasy league. Follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard) for all things fantasy football.

Tonight, we conclude week 4 with a pair of primetime games. The 0-3 Tennessee Titans travel to the 1-2 Miami Dolphins while the 3-0 Seahawks travel to the 2-1 Detroit Lions. Miami is favored by 2.5 and the over/under is 37.5. The Lions are favored by 4 with an over/under of 46.5. My predictions for these games are a 17-16 win for the Titans and a 28-27 win for the Lions. I like Pollard a lot in the Titans game, and I like both Metcalf and St. Brown.

It's still very early in the season, but always make sure you’re aware if or when your league has a trade deadline. Try to sell and/or buy players with strategy and the use of your persuasion and negotiation skills. Here are some players to buy and sell before week 5 begins. Like I always say, one trade could be the difference in winning or losing your fantasy football league.

PLAYERS TO BUY

Jalen Hurts – Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles got smoked in week 4 losing at the hands of Baker Mayfield. Hurts continues to have costly turnovers and is missing vital pieces in the offense. Although Hurts was without his top 2 pass catchers he still managed to throw and rush for a TD each. It is a great time to send a buy low offer to the Hurts owner assuming he or she has seen the struggles in the offense. Hurts has a BYE in week 5 and after that he should get some players back which will hopefully push Hurts back into fantasy excellence.

Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich reiterated that Aaron Rodgers will start in Week 18 against the Dolphins.
Rodgers having perhaps the worst game of his professional career won't stop the Jets from rolling him out in Week 18 to put the finishing touches on a wildly disappointing season. The NFL's leader for career sacks taken threw for 112 yards on 18 attempts in Week 17's loss to the Bills but needs just one more touchdown pass to reach 500 for his career. The decision to start Rodgers doesn't come as much of a surprise, as he'll undoubtedly be chasing his 500th career touchdown pass in what may be the final game of his NFL career. Rodgers and the Jets will have a chance to play spoiler to the Dolphins, who kept their playoff hopes alive with a win over the Browns on Sunday.
