Waiver Hub – Week 5

Happy Tuesday, Mike here, welcome back to my weekly Waiver HUB. Follow me on Twitter (@FantasyHubbard) for all things fantasy football throughout the season.

Last night we saw 2 MNF games once again. The Titans @ Dolphins was a snoozefest the majority of the game until later in the 2nd half when the Titans decided they would score some TDs. The Seahawks @ Lions game was much more exciting combining for 71 points. The Titans won 31-12 and the lions won 42-29. It was a great night for RBs who scored 8 total rushing TDs.

Fantasy football is well underway so it’s time to make some moves and prepare for fantasy post season greatness. Injuries are inevitable so here’s another chance to hit the waiver wire and get impactful players. Another week gone, another opportunity to make your team stronger and inch your way to that league trophy and an offseason of bragging rights.

Below are my top waiver wire priorities this week. Go get those available players to help your chances at a championship. Good luck this week and remember to check back every week to stay informed on who you could target off of waivers.

TOP PRIORITY OF THE WEEK

Kareem Hunt – Kansas City Chiefs

Kareem Hunt came into his first game back with the Chiefs after being signed recently due to the Pacheco injury. Everyone was scrambling to pick up Carson Steele and Samaje Perine, but it seems that Hunt is looking like the guy you want. He carried the ball 14 times for 69 rushing yards and was involved in the pass game catching 2 of his 3 targets for an additional 16 receiving yards. It is still scary knowing the Chiefs have so many options, especially with Clyde Edwards-Helaire returning to action this week. But I saw enough in week 4 to feel good about Hunt in at least the near future.
