Start/Sit Hub Week 16

Happy fantasy playoffs continued to everyone and happy week 16 of the 2024 NFL season! Welcome back to my weekly Start/Sit HUB! Mike here, providing you with information that can help you win your fantasy league week in and week out.

This week’s TNF matchup is one between the 9-5 Broncos and the 8-6 LA Chargers. The game is in LA who is favored by 3 points with a total points over/under of 42.5. My prediction for this game is an upset win for the Broncos by a score of 20-17.

I am here every week during the fantasy football season with start and sit suggestions that can impact your team each week. My decisions as always include obvious and not so obvious picks. I would also like to clarify that my sit suggestions are based on the assumption you have or can add a player that has a better chance at success. Good luck this week and continue to check out my weekly articles.

Giants agreed to terms with EDGE Chauncey Golston, formerly of the Cowboys, on a three-year, $19.5 million contract.
The 2021 third-rounder just wrapped up his rookie contract with something of a breakout campaign, though he's already 27 years old. Golston notched 5.5 sacks last season after totaling just 4.5 through his first three years in the league. His 790 snaps were also close to double his previous career high. There could be more meat on the bone, but Golston is beyond the typical age of exponential improvement. He is versatile, possessing the bulk to kick insider along the interior in obvious passing situations.

Raiders signed LB Elandon Roberts to a one-year, $3 million contract.
Raiders head coach Pete Carroll gets his do-it-all linebacker. At 30 years old, Roberts is still a very capable run-defender and blitzer. He tallied 32 tackles, eight tackles for loss or no gain and 12 quarterback pressures last season. The latter sum is the second-best total of his career and he's impressively finished with double-digit quarterback pressures in each of the last four seasons
