Browns general manager Andrew Berry told reporters that he expects RG Wyatt Teller to be on the roster this season, despite recently signing free agent OG Teven Jenkins.
The Browns' offensive line was hit hard by injuries last season, and both Teller (30 years old) and incumbent LG Joel Bitonio (33 years old) are scheduled to hit free agency next offseason. The 27-year-old Jenkins received a one-year, $3.05 million prove-it deal, giving him the chance to earn a multi-year contract as either Teller or Bitonio's replacement. Jenkins has experience playing both left guard and right guard.

Cleveland's Mary Kay Cabot reports that Browns general manager Andrew Berry "that it's 'unlikely' they'll trade up to No. 1 with the Titans to draft Cam Ward."
Berry then added that "all possibilities remain open with the No. 2 pick and that they're still doing their diligence" and that "Abdul Carter's stress fracture in his foot wouldn't prohibit them from drafting him." One possible read here is that Berry is hoping his comments spur another team to pay up for the right to draft Carter. Specifically, pouring cold water on the idea of drafting Ward is odd, though. The Browns desperately need a long-term solution at quarterback.
