Free agent WR Mecole Hardman visited the Bears on Monday.
The top two receiver spots in Chicago are locked down by DJ Moore and Rome Odunze but the team now has a relative vacancy in the slot following the departure of Keenan Allen. They seemingly addressed the need earlier in free agency with the signing of Olamide Zaccheaus but evidently still feel the need to add cheap depth. Hardman has not been fantasy relevant in years but there are worse teams to land on considering the recent hiring of the offensive-minded head coach Ben Johnson.

Free agent OG Lucas Patrick visited the Seahawks on Monday.
The veteran offensive guard appeared in 11 games for the Saints in 2024 after playing for the Bears and Packers the previous seven seasons. Patrick will turn 32 in the coming season and has struggled while starting over the past few seasons, the best he could hope for is winning a competition on the interior in Seattle.

Veteran DT Jaleel Johnson retired from the NFL after seven seasons.
Johnson played for the Vikings, Texans, Falcons, and Titans, amassing 149 combined tackles and 7.5 sacks across 86 appearances, 25 of which were starts. He last played in 2023.
