The Athletic's Vic Tafur and Tashan Reed report that Zamir White is "believed to be available" via trade.
Tafur and Reed perhaps generously describe White as having "had some great moments in 2023 before falling off due to scheme, vision and injuries last season." It would be unsurprising to see the Raiders waive White after the draft but acquiring a Day 3 pick for him is technically possible.

The Athletic's Vic Tafur and Tashan Reed report that the "Raiders have had discussions with teams who have interest in tight end Michael Mayer."
Mayer makes for an intriguing dart throw for TE-needy teams. The 2023 second-round pick missed six games due to personal reasons in 2024 but was a well-respected prospect just two years ago. The Athletic's Vic Tafur and Tashan Reed report that Tom Brady and Raiders GM John Spytek "are not super high on Sam Darnold or the other potential free agent" quarterbacks.
The Raiders were reportedly ready to offer Matthew Stafford "a two-year deal for around $90 to 100 million" if Stafford wanted out of Los Angeles, and if the Rams were willing to accept a second-round pick in exchange, but Stafford chose to stay put. While Brady and Spytek obviously call the shots, it is worth noting that "there are members of the Raiders' offensive coaching staff who prefer adding a proven veteran quarterback to taking a dice roll on a rookie quarterback." The Raiders' new leadership group failed to achieve its No. 1 offseason goal, securing Stafford, and must now work through their first organizational obstacle. The results of the new QB search will have a lasting impact on the current group's tenure.
